What We’re Trying to Do
Our goal is straightforward: give readers nail design inspiration that’s genuinely current, genuinely varied, and easy to act on — whether you’re prepping for an appointment or trying something at home. We’d rather publish fewer, better posts than pad the site with filler.
How We Operate
We check before we publish. Design trends, techniques, and product mentions are verified before they go live — we don’t guess or assume.
Recommendations aren’t influenced by payment. If we link to a product or brand, it’s because we’d genuinely point a friend toward it. Any sponsored content or affiliate relationship is clearly disclosed, never hidden in the text.
We separate fact from opinion. If we’re describing a general trend, that’s stated as such. If it’s a personal styling take, we say that too.
We’re not a substitute for professional care. Posts that touch on nail health, product ingredients, or application safety are general inspiration and information — not a replacement for advice from a licensed nail technician or dermatologist about your specific situation.
We write for real people, not perfect ones. Not everyone has salon-level skills or a full drawer of tools. We try to keep content useful across different experience levels, without talking down to anyone.
We welcome pushback. Reader comments and corrections are genuinely useful to us, and we review them rather than ignore them.
We follow the rules. That includes copyright respect, image usage rights, and proper disclosure of any affiliate or sponsored content per FTC guidelines.
When We Get Something Wrong
- Most errors get flagged either by readers or during our own periodic content reviews.
- Small fixes — a typo, a dead link, an outdated product link — get corrected quietly, no fanfare needed.
- Bigger fixes — an inaccurate claim, outdated technique guidance — get a visible note on the post so readers know what changed and when.
- We’d rather fix something fast than leave it wrong.
Where AI Fits In
AI tools support parts of our workflow — drafting, editing, research organization. Full detail is on our AI Content Policy page. The short version: nothing goes live without a human reviewing and fact-checking it first, and we’re not hiding the fact that AI is part of the process.
